Audrey "Sissie" Hanbury Goolsby was born in Chesapeake, Virginia, the daughter of Audrey Bernice Griffin and Lewis Franklin Hanbury.
Audrey graduated from Oxon Hill High School. Audrey was employed as a systems analyst with the U.S. Government, retiring after 33 years.
She was a member of the Annapolis Elks and a Life Member of the South Gate-Clinton Lions Club and was the recipient of the prestigious Melvin Jones award. Audrey loved cooking, shopping, fishing, NASCAR, was a fashionista, loved spending time with her family and friends and loved doing charitable work with the Lions Club.
She was the wife of Keith W. Goolsby, Sr., whom she married on April 25, 1942 and who died September 17, 2001.
She was also the mother of 2 daughters and a son. Devoted grandmother of 8 grandchildren.
