John Earl Brewer, passed away April 12, 1988, in Goldthwaite, Texas.
John was born July 11, 1925, in Tahoka, Lynn County, Texas to John Edward and Elizabeth Faye Brewer. He moved with his family to their ranch west of Andrews in the fall of 1948. Prior to moving to Andrews, John met and married Mary Allene Brewer, his wife of 44 years.
He was a rancher on his ranch West of Andrews along with his father and mother. In 1966, John left Andrews and moved with Allene and Johnnie Sue, his youngest daughter, to Mullin, Texas. There he continued his ranching until is death.
He was a Master Mason and believed strongly in supporting their cause and the children's hospital they sponsored.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
He is survived by his wife Allene Brewer of Mullin; Daughter Johnnie Sue Lancaster and husband Gary Don; daughter, Patsy Whittington and husband Lynn of Lake Zurich, IL; 2 granddaughters, Tonya Lancaster of May and Christina Whittington of Lake Zurich, IL. One Grandson, Quentin Whittington of Lake Zurich, IL; Brother Ben Brewer and wife Laney of Andrews.
