Funeral services for my Grandpa Godsil were at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Friends called Friday afternoon and evening at Foley Mortuary where the rosary was recited at 8pm.
He was born South of Galesburg, Ill.
He married Hulda Norburg in St. Mary's Cathedral in Peoria, Ill. in 1900.
Grandma Godsil survives along with (4) sons, John, James Jr. and William Godsil of Galesburg, Ill, and Edward Godsil of Lincoln, Ill.; (7) daughters, Mrs. Clyde (D0lly O'Nion, Mrs. Eugene (Marge) Bradford Of Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. Enos (Irene) Eppel, Bloomington, Ill., Mrs. John (Alice) Wood, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Mrs. Joseph (Lucy) Ebner, Corpus Christi, Texas, Mrs. Rex(Jean) Olmstead, Toulon, Ill., Mrs.James (Jessie) Bainbridge, Oquawka, Ill., (2) sisters, Mrs. Frank (Nell) Hicks, Galesburg, Ill., and Mrs. Dell Martin, of Montana; a brother, Dave Godsil of Galesburg, Ill, (53) grandchildren, and (22) g-grandchildren.
