She was born October 5, 1907 at Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late Nathan Powell and Ellen Howard.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Avery Casey.
She is survived by one son, Floyd Casey of St. Louis; one daughter, Gladys Long of Farmington; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7:00 p.m. Friday at Cozean Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral with Rev. David Bates officiating.
Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
