George Peter Grass, Sr., 70, of Elizabethtown, KY, formerly from the Camden area, passed away unexpectedly September 10, 2015, at his sister’s home in Camden. He was born July 13, 1945, in Rome, NY a son of Otto Willard and Arlene May Murphy Grass. George was a 1964 graduate from Camden Central School.
George was a carpenter and retired in 2013.
Surviving George are his children, Christine Byrd, Fort Worth, TX, George Peter Grass, Jr. Westdale, NY, George also has nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eight sisters, five brothers, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Keith David Grass, a daughter Nancy Joann Grass, and two sisters, Janet Light and Ethel Grass.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm, Tuesday, at the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4-7 pm at 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to American Heart Association.
