Wilbur R. Icenogle

Wilbur R. Icenogle, 72, former Rush County resident, died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday at his home, R.R. 2, French Lick, after an extended illness.

Mr. Icenogle was a retired farmer and moved to the French Lick area in 1962. He was a member of the Red Quarry Christian Church and the Falmouth Masonic Lodge.

Born July 4, 1910, in Rush County, Mr. Icenogle was a son of Oscar and Jessie ( Lee) Icenogle. On Feb. 14, 1938, he married Alpha Flannery, who survives.

Also surviving are nine children, Mrs. Barbara Marshall, Tomah, WI., Mrs. Linda Allender, Manilla, IN., Mrs. Judy Tedrow, Hartford, KY., Mrs. June Provines, Kokomo, IN., Mrs. Jane Perozzi, Minneapolis, MN., David Icenogle, Sawyer Air Force Bace, MI., Stanley Icenogle, Trafalgar, IN., Byron Icenogle and Oscar Icenogle, French Lick.

Other survivors are a brother, Paul Icenogle, Shelbyville, IN., two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Jaggers, Rushville, IN. and Mrs. Felma Beach, Phoenix, AZ., and 26 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Red Quarry Christian Church with burial in Ames Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brosner-Drabing Funeral Home, French Lick, after 3 p.m. Friday.
