Mike was a very sweet fun guy to hang with. There wasn't anyone who did not like him. He was always the life of a party and never met a stranger.
Mike loved hunting and spending time outdoors. He loved getting his hands into the dirt, working it, tilling it, until he got it just right. Then he would careful plant seeds into the dirt. Mike always had a wonderful vegetable garden. All his hard work always paid off, he would reap the reward from it. He found out from his friends' wives, on how to can and freeze. Mike loved canning and loved to eat and show what his garden grew.
He did not have any children, but he loved his nieces and nephew, as if they were his own. They all loved him. Brandon loved his Uncle Mike and love spending time with him because Mike could be like a big overgrown kid. But was also very protected of his family.
I know Mike never got over losing his beloved mother. He is buried next to her..
