Blair's time on Earth was short. He left behind a lot of memories for his loved ones.

Blair was a WW2 Veteran. After he got out of the service, he became a carpenter and a furniture maker by trade. He made his family beautiful pieces of furniture and other wood projects, such as horse bookends, a turtle trinket box, the shell opens up. The beautiful pieces, I have seen are awesome. He had a gift from God to take a piece of wood and make something out of it with so much detail.

Blair died from a heat stroke after leaving work one hot summer day. He was taken to the hospital after collapsing on the sidewalk. He was in a coma and his temp was 110 degrees. The hospital packed him in ice and he lived this way for a week.
