WINCHESTER, N.H. - Edward Hugh Albee, 82, departed peacefully in his Winch ester, NH, home on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005.
Born in Orange, Mass., on Sept. 18, 1923, he was a son of Hugh A. and Georgetta (Miller) Albee.
He was a decorated United States Naval Veteran of World War Two.
His wife of 48 years, Marjie J. Albee, died on Nov. 24, 2005.
Survivors include his children, Carol Jo Brown of Indiana, Julie Ann Leslie of California, Georgetta Mildren of Athol, Donald Albee and his wife Rose, of Athol, Hugh Albee of Chocowinity, NC, and Deb Emmett and her husband Mark, of New Salem; several grandchildren, Keith Mildren, Sarah Mildren, Edward Albee, Dawn Albee, Rebecca Albee, Kendra Albee, Zachary Albee, James Emmett, Shawn Emmett, Aaron Emmett; and a great grandchild, Mark Albee.
Funeral services will be private and there are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the VAMC Hospital, White River Junction, VT 05001.
Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main St., Orange, is directing the arrangements.
