Mr. Norsworthy was born on August 14, 1927 in Jackson, Georgia to the late Walter Norsworthy and the late Virgie Vickers Norsworthy. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Nell Branan Norsworthy, who passed away on November 20, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Norsworthy was retired from Georgia Power with over 35 years of service. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Jackson and St. John's Masonic Lodge #45. PeeWee was an avid golfer and fisherman.
Mr. Norsworthy is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Amanda Norsworthy, Donnie and Angela Norsworthy, Ronnie and Trish Norsworthy; grandchildren, Ashley and Bryan Hinkle, Branan and Briana Norsworthy, Sam and Olivia Norsworthy, Sara Norsworthy, Jack Norsworthy, Ben Norsworthy, and Kate Norsworthy; great-grandchildren, Ava, Ella, Bryce, and Brady; brother and sister-in-law, Lindsey and Robin Norsworthy; in-laws, Shirley Woodruff and Debbie Hall, Benny and Peggy Branan and Leonard and Margaret Branan; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. PeeWee Norsworthy will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rudy Mangham and Ralph Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Monday afternoon and from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday evening.
