Larry passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Essentia Health in Fargo
surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on October 3, 1940, the son of William and Della (Hanson) French,
in Breckenridge, MN. He attended grade school in Breckenridge prior to moving to
Minneapolis with his family. The family moved to Fargo in 1952 and Larry
finished his schooling graduating from Fargo Central High School. Larry was
married to A.E. “Nellie” Lockhart in 1961. They later divorced.

Larry was a longtime employee of Cass Clay Creamery in Fargo working there for
over 40 years. During his free time he loved spending time with his family,
hunting and fishing, and many days at the lakes.

Larry is survived by his son, Michael (Glori) French of Pelican Rapids, MN; his
daughter, Karla (Zach) Baker of Moorhead, MN; his three grandchildren – Ashlyn
French, Michael Baker, and McKenzie Baker. Also surviving are his sister, Bonnie
(Jim) Critelli of Fargo; his brother, Alan (Margaret) French of Eugene, OR; and
his longtime special friend, Darlene Halverson of West Fargo, ND. He was
preceded in death by his parents.
