Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Sheyenne Lutheran Church near Pekin, the Rev. Albert Tastad officiating with burial at Binford.
Mr. French was born at Binford November 4, 1900 and was married to Della Hanson in Minneapolis January 14, 1939. He was employed by the telegraph department of Great Norther Railroad for 28 years. H e moved to Fargo in 1951, headquartering out of Moorhead.
He was a member of American Lutheran Church in Fargo.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons and a daughter; Larry, Allen and Bonnie, at home; two brothers, Charles of Pekin, Johnny of Nashua, Montana; two sisters, Mrs. Obert (Carrie) Nelson, McHenry and John (Cynthia) Gaking of Tolna.
