Thomas R. Turner, 71, of Schnecksville, passed away Oct. 1, 2013 at his residence.

He was married to Barbara A. (Eder) Turner for 45 years.

Born in Honesdale, he was the son of the late S. Richard and Alta (Menner) Turner. He was a machine operator for RR Donnelley Co., Quakertown for 40 years, retiring in 2007. He was of the United Methodist faith.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the North End Rod and Gun Club as well as the Lehigh Valley Trap Shooting League. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors: Wife; sisters, Joyce, wife of Millard Mershon of Liltitz, Elizabeth Cashmark of Laurel, MD; Carolyn, wife of Bruce Mackle; Rachel, Wife of John Malloy, all of Honesdale; nephews, nieces.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Viewing from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday. Interment, St. Peters Cemetery, Whitehall.

In lieu of flowers, donate to Lehigh Valley Hospice, c/o the funeral home, 18037.
