Paulina (Boehme) Mulligan was the daughter of Ernest Otto BOEHME (son of Ernest Julius BOEHME and Antonia Theresa HANTZ) and Lavonia MORLEY (daughter of Calvin MORLEY & Elizabeth BLAINE).

Born 16 Aug 1883 in the Ligonier Valley in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, her family moved to Winchester, Virginia about 1884. Her mother, Lavonia, passed away in Virgina.

Her father then remarried the widow Helen (Martin) Black. This blended family included Otto's children Paulina and George and Helen's sons, Frank & Everett Black. They moved to Philadelphia, PA about 1899.

Paulina married James MULLIGAN, Sr. 15 Feb 1905 in Philadelphia, PA. They had 10 children: James, Thomas, Sarah, Elizabeth, George, Pauline, Jane, Lydia, Harold and Dorothy..
