Lavonia Morley was the daughter of Calvin Morley and Elizabeth Blain. She was born in Somerset or Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She was one of several children including:

- Jane Morley (1843 – 1908)
- Leander Morley (1843 – 1867)
- Isaac G. Morley (1844 – 1864)
- Lavonia Morley (1845 – 1897)

- Ellen Morley (1848 – ??)
- Robert Morley (1850 – 1860)

In 1840, the family lived in Somerset County where the eldest children were born. By 1850, the family resided in Donegal, Westmoreland County. In 1883, their second child, Pauline Boehme, was born. The birth announcement for Pauline Boehme reads: "BOEHME, a daughter b aug 16th to w/o O.E. of Ligonier Valley, formerly of McKeesport (8-21-1883 P)"

By Oct 1884, Otto and Lavinia and family are living in Winchester, Virginia. The property deed dated 9 Feb 1886 references an earlier deed in Book #100, page 449 between Otto Boehme and John Kennedy (agent).

In Feb 1886 in Frederick County, VA, a deed transfers land from W.C. Skinner (of Chambersburg Pennsylvania) & Alice R. Skinner to Otto E. Boehme (of Frederick County, Virginia). The land was located about 3 miles from Winchester, Virginia and was formerly Rhutroff Distillery property.

In Aug 1887, in Frederick County, VA, a deed dated August 11, 1887 transfers land from Otto E. Boehme and his wife Lavinia to the trustees of the Public Schools of Shawnee District in Frederick County, Virginia. The property was located near Eddys Mills.

In Aug 1888, in Frederick County, VA, a deed transfers land from Otto E. Boehme and his wife Livonia to the trustees of the Public Schools of Shawnee District in Frederick County, Virginia. The property ran along the public road leading from Eddys Mills to the Berryville...

On 28 Oct 1897, Lavonia (Morley) Boehme died in her home. Her death announcement read: "Mrs. Levonia (52), wife of Otto Boehme, died at her home on Griffith Rd, near town. The funeral services will occur at her late residence on 30 Oct 1897 at 1PM; interment in the Lutheran cemetery in this city. Rev. W.L. Seabrook will officiate."
