He only finished the third grade. C. D. enlisted 11/20/1920 and was stationed at Ft. Bliss. He was honorably discharged on 07/21/1921. He received discharge pay of $131.15. Columbus Doom (family name) was a teacher and Baptist preacher. C. D. was a hard working man. C. D. was an usher in the Frank Norris meetings and he sang in the great big choir. He was a tenor...a beautiful tenor.
C. D. was employed by Brandt Upholstery as an upholster. Later as an electrician.
