Cecil O. Huffman, 66, Barnett, died Thursday, October 24, 1990, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born February 3, 1919 in Versailles, the son of the late Oliver P. and Elizabeth K. Firedly Huffman.

Prior to his recent retirement Mr. Huffman was a co-owner of the Red Wing Exterminator Company in Sedalia and Columbia. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post in Columbia.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Kathryn Sheridan, Indianapolis, Ind.; six brothers, Fred Huffman and Earl Huffman, both of Denver, Colorado, Vencil Huffman and Donald Huffman, both of Columbia, and Aubrey Huffman and Wade Huffman, both of Versailles; two granddaughters, Laura and Amy, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, e was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Huffman and Greg Huffman.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 27, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joe Diener officiating. Hymns were sun by Bob and Danny Wenger. Interment was in the Versailles Cemetery. Casketbearers were George Vogel, G.A. Bennington, Glenn Deffenbaugh, Jay Yoder, Grover Griffin, and Bob Meyer. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
