Norman served in the Navy from July 1929 to Oct. 1930. He worked in the Navy torpedo factory during WW11 and drove a Taxi after the war. he and his wife raised 5 girls and one boy. Norma Marie, Ethel Jean, Alice Virginia, Barbara Lee, Irene Leona and Stephen Decatur. They retired to Florida and lived out the rest of their lives there. Both died at an early age.
