Spouse #2 Elizabeth Jane Brisco. They were married in 1873 in Douglas County, Missouri. He was a member of the Missouri volunteers out of Illinois in the Cavalry, in the Civil War. Wounded. on the way back to Indiana took sick in Swifton, Arkansas and died there, was buried in Arnold Cemetery. His family remained as part of the community of Swifton. His wife Elizabeth is also buried there and some of his children.
