Zola Ruth Brawner, 94, Galena, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, in Cox South, Springfield. She was born Oct. 9, 1915, in Taney County to Troy and Pearl (Brown) Seaton.

She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Taney and Stone counties. She married James Brawner May 31, 1931. He died Aug. 1, 1992. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marjorie Patrick.

Survivors include one son, James Brawner Jr., Galena; three daughters, Louise McCullough and Merle Saltkill, both of Aurora, and Rozella Rutledge, Springfield; two brothers, Arthur Elder and Junior Elder, both of Reeds Spring; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, March 13, at Manlove-Stumpff Chapel, Crane, with the Rev. Bob Allmon officiating. Burial was in Galena Cemetery.
