Anne P. Adams, 93, of Tallahassee, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family.
A daughter of the late Leo and Georgia Vivian Martin Miller, she was born in Perry, Florida on February 1, 1925. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Harold Lloyd Adams; son, Donald Joe Adams; grandchildren, Ken Courtney and Brian Adams; sister, Jean Guernsey; son-in-law, Raymond Downs; brothers-in-law, Howard Nowling, Charles Dozier, Harvey Tidwell and Clinton Guernsey; and sister-in-law, Millie Miller. She was a homemaker and also cared for children in her home.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Sue Downs, David Adams (Cara Sue), Trina Shank (Jack) and Kalvin Adams (Michelle); nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Doris Nowling, Harold Miller (Tommie), Bill “Wid” Miller, Virginia Dozier, Leon Miller (Margaret), Lomax Miller (Gaylier), Carolyn Tidwell and Neil Miller (Dee).
Visitation is from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Abbey Funeral Home. A graveside follow will be at 11:00 AM, Central Time, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Florida.
