LIPAN - Geniva Addison, 70, a retired accounting clerk, died Saturday at a Granbury hospital. Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Allison Baptist Church in Lipan. Burial: Allison Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m. to noon today at Wiley Chapel in Lipan.
Geniva Addison was born March 2, 1926, in Lipan. Mrs. Addison was a lifelong resident of Lipan. She married "Goob" Addison on December 23, 1944. Members of Allison Baptist Church, they served together as church treasurers for the past 30 years. Her parents were William "Pete" Queen and Dovie Barber Queen.
Survivors: Husband, Garth "Goob" Addison of Lipan; son, Dan Addison of Lipan; brother and sister-in-law, James O. and Martha Queen of Arlington; and brothers and sisters-in-law, all of Lipan, Jerry and R. W. Addison, Vaughn and Betty Addison.
