Harry C. Bertolucci, born in Rutland, VT on May 15, 1901, passed away at home on June 13, 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Frances, two sons, Harry Bertolucci Jr. and Francis Bertolucci and his wife, Dee, all of El Cajon, CA, step-daughter, Jan Johnson and her husband, Emmett of Albuquerque, grandchildren, Jeannie, Bonnie and Donna Etmire and her husband, David, all of El Cajon, CA, Jeff Johnson and his wife, Marie of Santa Monica, CA, Jill Henderson and her husband, Scott of Albuquerque and Jorie Johnson of San Francisco, CA. Harry is also survived by three great-granddaughters, Ashley and Samantha Etmire of El Cajon, CA and Charlotte Johnson of Santa Moncia, CA and one sister, Ada Maglichetti and husband, Tom of Bayside, NY.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carmela Bertolucci, three brothers and one sister.
After retiring as an electrican in New York City, Harry moved to Albuquerque in 1966 and worked as a crossing guard for Albuquerque Public Schoos. Harry was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church and a 70 year member of the Masonic Lodge, tranferring to Mesa Lodge, AF&AM #68 in Albuquerque from San Diego. Harry was also a Scottish Rite member and a member of Ballut Abyad Temple in Albuquerque, serving on the Director Staff.
Services will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 201 Jefferson NE on Friday morning, June 19, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jonathan Holmer and Pastor Emeritus George West. Private burial of cremains will be at Sandia Memory Gardens. In lieu of flower, memorial contriubtions can be made to Shrine Crippled Children Transportation Fund, Ballut Abyad Temple, 6600 Zuni SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 or St. Timothy Memorial Fund, 201 Jefferson NE, Albuquerque, NM.
