Frances Emma Grinyer Bertolucci, age 93, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1959, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2007.
Frances was born on December 19, 1913 in Elroy, IL to Walter and Mabel Grinyer.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Jan Johnson and her husband, Emmett of Albuquerque, NM, grandchildren, Jeff Johnson of Santa Monica, CA, Jill Henderson and her husband, Scott and Jorie Johansen and her husband, Anton of Albuquerque, also, five great-grandchildren, Charlotte Johnson, Claire Henderson, Adam Henderson, Toby Johansen and Hayden Johansen. Frances is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen Grinyer of Riverside, CA and Dolores Grinyer of Brookfield, WI and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her huband, Harry Bertolucci, parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Frances worked at Valley Gold Dairies and retired from Sandia National Labs in 1978. Her family, her home, playing bridge, traveling, being active in the Daughters of the Nile and dialysis kept her busy and alive in her retirement. Frances was a longtime member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church with the date and time forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial contriubtions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, the UNMH Children's Cancer Hospital of the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
