Mr. Steven L. "Stevie Joe" Benham, age 56, of Guston, KY went home to be with the Lord and his Dad on July 15, 2011 at University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Margaret and Arthur Chapman, his father and step-mother, "Bud" and Ella Grace Benham, a niece, Jennifer Benham Johnson and a step-brother, Phillip Hagan.
He is survived by his long time significant other, Dorothy Barley, two sisters, Monica (Pat) Wardrip and Shelia (Tim) Kendall, Brandenburg, KY, two brothers, James A. "Buddy" Benham, Vine Grove, KY and Wesley (Linda) Benham, Guston, KY, 8 Nieces and Nephews and 11 Great Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with burial in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 8 PM Monday and after 9 AM Tuesday. Pallbearers will be John Wardrip, Pam Hughes, Timmi Michelle Jupin, James Wardrip, Matthew Benham, Heather Benham and Cody Benham.
