James Aurther "Buddy" Benham, age 70, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at his residence. Buddy was born January 27, 1952 in Meade County.

He always enjoyed having a good time and his silly, loveable nature will be missed by all that knew him.

Buddy was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Evelyn (Reesor) Chapman; his father and step mother, James "Bud" and Ella Grace Benham; his daughter, Jennifer Marie (Benham) Johnson; his brother, Stevie Joe Benham; and his first infant great grandson, Montgomery Wade Johnson;

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Benham; three sons, James Cody Benham and his wife, Kayla, Cory Hammons and his wife, Liz, and Chris Hammons; three grandsons, Thomas Michael Moore, Mark Anthony Johnson and his wife, Samantha, and Jaxton David Hammons; and two granddaughters, Jade and Kerah Haire. Buddy was also survived by numerous extended family members and a few special friends.

In honoring Buddy's wishes, the family has chosen cremation.
