Robert Branco
Robert V. Branco, 77, a retired truck driver died Tuesday in Salinas.
He was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Atwater and was a resident of Salinas for 46 years. Mr. Branco was a truck driver for Reid Trucking and a veteran of World War II who served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 589.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Branco of Salinas, two sons, Robert V. Branco Jr of Hollister and Kenneth Branco-Karen of Salinas; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister Dolores Dunn of Parkdale, Ore.
Private services will be held at Winton Cemetery in Winton. Arrangements by Steve and Laporte Chapel.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.
