Stephen was born in Los Angeles, CA. He married Maxine Cleaver on May 12, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA. In his early years they moved to Oceanside, CA working for the local newspaper. Later he owned and operated a furniture store. He and his wife Maxine built a beautiful home overlooking one of the many bays in the back waters of Oceanside. Then he moved to Arcadia where he worked for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. In semi retirment he worked as a Men's Clothing Salesman in the exclusive department store; Silverwoods. Stephen passed while living in Glendora, CA where he had moved upon retirement. He was survived by his wife; Maxine, his daughter; Joanne Underwood Hennessy, his son-in-law; Michael Hennessy & two grandsons; Richard and Michael Hennessy.
