The death of Mrs. Worth Arnold occurred Saturday morning at 1:45 o’clock at the family residence, two miles northeast of Stockwell. She gave birth to a child last Monday and the little one preceded her to eternity by a few days. Deceased was formerly Miss Bessie Conarroe, daughter of Charles Conarroe, and was born on March 8, 1879. She was a member of the United Brethren church and was a woman of beautiful character. She was refined and cultured and was admired by all who knew her. She was married on May 2, 1900, to Worth Arnold, who survives. The funeral was conducted at Monroe last Sunday morning at 10:30 o’clock, Rev. George Trinkle, of Clark’s Hill, officiating. The interment was made in the Cemetery at Monroe.
