Daughter of Ervin O. Brown & Elsie M. Ealey Brown. Sister of Evelyn M. Brown Huffman. She married Henry (Hank) Garrett who owned a Schwinn Bicycle Shop in El Vista-Peoria, IL. Later she married Ray McCoy. She had one son William McCoy and two sons by her first marriage to Hank Garrett, i.e., Harold "Sonny" Garrett who was a city inspector for Peoria, and Jack Garrett, a firefighter for the City of Peoria. She is buried next to her first husband Henry "Hank" Garrett at the request of her son Harold. Her 2nd husband Ray was cremated and his ashes were scattered in a rose garden privately.
