Ervin Oscar Brown, 55, of 2716 Finnell at El Vista died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home. He had lived in the Peoria community all his life and was a former machine operator at the National Distillers Products Corp. Born in Peoria Jan 15, 1895 he was a son of Charles W and Flora Haynes Brown and married Elsie Ealey in Peoria Oct 4, 1913. Mr. Brown was a member of the Distillery and Wine Workers Union. Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Huffman Peoria and Mrs. Dorothy Garrett El Vista, two sons, Robert and Lloyd Brown both of El Vista, one sister Mrs. Ollie Fuller of Peoria, and eight grandchildren. Three sons are dead. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wilton Mortuary with Dr B G Drake of Trinity Temple officiating. Interrment will be in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday afternoon and evening.
