He was also known as J.Lawrence Deaver and was an insurance broker.His hobby was writing hymns with several of them being published.He was married to Ruby Alma Lebow.They had two children:Billy Elwood Deaver 1932-2005 and Patricia D.Deaver 1937-1979.The Family name of Dever was also written as Devers in a lot of records.Lawrence used Deaver a lot saying he was reverting to the way the name was spelled originally.Records even further back have been found spelling it DeVer,Devier and several other variations.
