Ida Faye Blake
PALESTINE — Ida Faye Blake, 79 went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. She was born in Romayor, Texas on Aug. 4, 1933 to Benjamin Patterson and Ethel Mae Allen.
Faye graduated from Montgomery High School in 1951. She was a wonderful Christian, living every day to the fullest; she was very devoted to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd A. Blake; son, Floyd A. Blake Jr.; daughter, Darlene Blake; sisters, Pat Wood and Jacky Cook; brother, Carrol Edd Ashworth; sister-in-law, Mildred Ashworth; grandchildren, Kristy Christopher, Tina Carter, Karyn Plagens and Katie Espinosa; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Brooklyn Christopher, Luke and Landri Blake Carter, Justin Alvis, Elena and Antonia Espinosa.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at Elkhart Church of Christ located at 206 N. U.S. 287, Elkhart, Texas 75839 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at Elkhart Church of Christ. Interment will be held at Copeland Chapel Cemetery in Conroe at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Texas Children's Home, 13200 Crane Road, Buda, Texas 78610.
