Louella Rosemond Chapman, age 94, of Abilene, Texas, passed away Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Sears Methodist Home in Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, October 12, 2006, at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Tarver, pastor of the Clearfork Baptist Church in Hawley, and Rev. Larry Hood, lay minister at South Pointe Baptist Church in Abilene, officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chapman was born April 5, 1912 in Baylor County, Texas. She married Carl Bradford Chapman on December 22, 1934 in Seymour, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1991. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by three sons, Glenn Ray Chapman of Clyde, Texas, Billy Jack Chapman of Hawley, Texas, and Carlton Brady Chapman of Tuscola, Texas; by four sisters, Mildred Roach of Atlanta, Texas, Bonnette Kovar of Seymour, Texas, Lera Nell Morgan of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Sue Powell of Seymour, Texas; by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and by a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Clara Lee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 P.M. on Wednesday evening.
