Mr. Edwardson was born on 7 Feb 1897 in Galesburg, where he was a lifelong resident. He attended Galesburg public schools. He was married to Alta Means in 1923 at Knoxville. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Alpha Masonic Lodge, and the American Legion. He was a Navy veteran of World War 1.
He is survived by his widow; two sons, William of Alpha and Kenneth of Galesburg; a daughter, Mrs. John (Rosemary) Yeager of Oneida; two brothers: Carl of Mendota and Ernest of East Peoria; a sister, Mrs. Warren (Edna) Champion of Peoria; and nine grandchildren.
