Flavel Jamison was the son of Elizabeth Anne Carmichel Rumph Jamison and her husband David Flavel Jamison. Flavel was born with a lump at the base of his spine. It continued to grown and grew so large that he could not sit up. He died after a few months and is buried next to his parents.
