Henry A. Baxter, 82, 322 W. 15th St., died Sunday morning at Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 24, 1900, in Missouri, he was the son of Joseph and Lou (Fox) Baxter. He was retired from Indiana University, where he was a caretaker.
Survivors include his wife, Edna (Stephens) Baxter; one daughter, Ruby Hendricks of Youngstown, Ariz.; one son, Dallas Baxter of Bloomington, two granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son-in-law.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greene and Harrell Mortuary, with the Revs. Kiah Rayl and George Atkinson officiating. Burial will be Valhalla Memory Gardens.
