Where the air is clean and children safely play.
I can go about freely, even go for a run,
I can take long walks in the warming sun.
What awaits me there, I can't really know,
But there is no pain, and no tears flow.
Maybe there are mountains and lakes galore,
I know it will be beautiful, I can't wait to explore.
The decision to leave was not made by me,
God's will, not mine. It's sometimes hard to see.
I fought a good battle, I finished the race,
I look forward to a much a happier place.
I'll be leaving behind my family and friends,
Though this is goodbye, it isn't truly the end.
I know this is hard, you'll miss me very much
Keep me in your heart, so we will be in close touch.
