Jill Alice (Giese) McAnary, 70, long time Crown Point resident, passed away at Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus on Thursday, July 14, 1994.
Jill was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point; former member of Tri Kappa; she was extrememly active with Hoosier Boys Town; a member of the Poor Investors Club and former member of the Gary Country Club (Innsbrook).
She is survived by one son, Jonathan M. McAnary of Crown Point; two daughters, Cynthia (Ray) Thrall of Crown Point and Lizbeth A (Fred) Pierce of Crown Point; four grandchildren, Katie Rippy, Kelly and Matthew Thrall, Jill Surges.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew J. McAnary in 1985 and a daughter, Lynn S. McAnary in 1981.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 1994 at noon at the Ridgelawn Cemetary, Gary, IN with Rev. Robert Eversull officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside services. Burns funeral home (corner of 101st & Broadway), Merrillville/Crown Point Chapel in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to Hoosier Boys Town, 7403 South Cline Ave., Schererville, IN 46375.
