I have been doing genealogy since my mother started dragging me to libraries when I was a kid. I have found great satisfaction in not only finding my own ancestors, but helping others to fill gaps in their ancestry, even if it is just getting a picture of a loved ones headstone.
In respect to the pictures that I take of headstones and markers, if they are illegible or otherwise buried or covered I apologize. I do try the best that I can to uncover what I can without a shovel. Some of these cemeteries disgust me with the blatant lack of care for many of the markers. I do include GPS locations when I take pictures in case anyone wants to go and care for the graves.
