She is survived by her brothers Gene Harlen Bingham and Robert Franklin Bingham; daughters Linda Sue Amidon Pogue and husband Charles, Peggy Carlene Amidon Carter and husband Stephen; son Leslie ‘Les’ Eugene Amidon and wife Sandra; grandchildren Susan Dalene Pogue Elliott and husband Larry, Scott Adam Pogue and wife Sandra, Laura Gayle Carter, Stephen ‘Kyle’ Carter, Bennett Crafton Carter II and fiancé Logan, Sabra Lynn Amidon Gossett and husband Michael; great-grandchildren Charles, Naomi, Arianna ‘Annie’, Elizabeth, Melody, Jesse, Cody, Matthew, Samuel ‘Sam’, Gabriel, and Chloédawn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charlene was preceded in death by her father Charles Columbus Bingham, mother Florence Amelia Cook Faulkner Bingham, sisters Gladys ‘Frances’ Faulkner Sims and Ruby Lois Faulkner Wooten Nelson, and brothers Vaughn Brooks Bingham and William ‘Bill’ Foy Bingham.
Visitation, Funeral Services, and Reception will be held Saturday, April 16th, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 178 E 4th St, Prattville, Alabama:
• 12:00 – Visitation
• 2:00 – Funeral; reception to follow immediately thereafter
• 3:15 – Travel to Memory Gardens cemetery for short graveside service
