Obituary - "Deaths - Jesse James Crabtree, Sr.- Jesse James Crabtree Sr., who moved to Quincy two months ago from West Quincy, Mo., died in his home, 219 Elm, Saturday afternoon at 3:40. He formerly was weighmaster for the West Quincy Grain Elevator Company. Mr. Crabtree was born in Steelville, Mo., Aug. 21, 1888, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Crabtree. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Susie Crabtree, three children, Harvey Crabtree and Mrs. Susan Curless of Quincy, and Jesse James Crabtree, Jr., who is in the navy, stationed at Charleston, S.C., a brother, Grover Crabtree of Sutter, two sisters, Mrs. Flora Dearwester of Paloma and Mrs. Florence Lee in Oregon, and a grandson."
