Kermit was born to Samuel Floyd & Eva Brockman Adams in Niles, MI. His siblings were Olive (Line), Barbara (Roebush)and Damon Adams. Two sisters - Yvonne "Bonnie" (Brady) & Sharon (Lingerfelt) plus three brothers - Delbert, Donald & Robert Adams preceeded him in death. Surviving were his Widow - "Millie" Knezevich Adams, Sister-in-laws - Anita "Toots" Knezevich Schindler & Helen Knezevich Matthews. Brother-in-law - Michael Knezevich had died in 1987. On December 1, 1948 in Chicago, IL - he was wed to the Love of his Life - Mildred "Mitz" "Millie" Knezevich. They celebrated their 50 th Wedding Anniversary in 1998. Kermit was a retired Bricklayer since 2002. He graduated from Niles High School and played on the 1942 State Championship Basketball Team. He served in WW II with the 247th Combat Engineers and was a member of the American Legion Post 25. He and Mitz were members of Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Church. They had a winter home in Kissimmee, Fl. The two were probably the most loved of all the relatives - their hearts and home were open to all!!
