Mildred "Millie" "Mitzie" was born to Dane "Dan" and Frances Maria Frucci Knezevich on April 20th, 1927 in South Bend, St. Joseph Co., IN. Her siblings were Helen (Glenn Matthews), Michael (Shirley Ann Moriarty) & (Maria Vuckovich), Anita "Toots" (Marvin Lewis Schindler). Mildred was wed to the Love of her Life - Kermit W. Adams on December 1st, 1948 in Chicago, IL. They had no children - lovingly "adopting" the children of all friends and relatives. "Mitz" was raised in the Saints Peter and Paul Serbian Church in South Bend. She was always volunteering - along with her mother and siblings - for every fantastic meal served in the "Hall"! Kermit and "Mitz" had a summer home in Kissimmee, Fl. Kermit was a brick-layer by trade. "Mitz" worked at Tyler Refrigeration Co. for many years. She loved to garden, cook & bake. Her stuffed cabbage rolls were her signature offering - anxiously awaited at every family gathering. She will be interred next to Kermit, her parents Dane & Frances "Mary" Frucci Knezevich and step-father - Cyril "Cy" VanHeesbeke at the Sacred Heart Cemetery - West of South Bend, IN.
