Mr. Allen was born April 6,1913 in Burlington,Colo., and spent his childhood in Kit Carson County. He married June Margaret Schlosser in Burlington April 9,1935.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Allen are his mother,Mrs. Mina Allen of California;two daughters,Ginny Bagley of Nampa,Ida.,Vikki Christensen of Farmington, N.M.;two sons,Arnold Allen of Fort Collins and James Allen of Muscatine,Iowa;three brothers, one of whom is Ora Ralph Allen of Fruita;two sisters and 10 grandchildren.
