John J. Connor was the son of Mark N. Connor and Bridget Elizabeth Nestor. He had eight siblings, Margaret E., William H., James E., Catherine L., Jennie L. "Jane", Alice Mary, Elizabeth N. and Nellie G. Connor. John married Lida Elizabeth Carrigan in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on April 24, 1890. They had seven children; John E., Blanche, Catherine Elizabeth, Francis J. "Frank", Helen M., Mabel V., and Regina "Jean" Connor. On his death certificate, he is listed as a machinest and was retired with his residence listed as Farmersville, Ohio. Burial took place on Aug. 22, 1922 at Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville, Ohio.

Last Rites Are Held For Late John Connor

Impressive services were held at St. Mary's church, this morning at 9 o'clock, for John Connor, who passed away Saturday. The Rev. Fr. Madigan officiated.
The many beautiful flowers silently spoke of the esteem in which the deceased was held.
The casket bearers were: John Carrigan, Cornelius Carrigan, W.H. Connor, Julius Kohankie, Thomas Moore and G.D. Austin.
Interment took place in Evergreen cemetery.
