Jane Connor was the sixth child born to Mark Connor and Bridget Elizabeth Nestor. She had eight siblings, Margaret E., John J., William H., James E., Catherine L., Alice Mary, Elizabeth N., and Nellie G. Connor. She married Julius Kohankie on 3 Oct 1901 in Lake County, Ohio. Julius and Jane had four children, Elizabeth L. Kohankie Newton (1903-1994), Charles J. Kohankie (1906-1998), Phillip Mark Kohankie (1907-1977) and Isabelle Jane Kohankie Harvel (1911-1987).
