Otto Baginski drowned in the Sangamon river while swimming with friends and one of his friends was in trouble and Otto tried to save him and Otto drowned.
He was the 2nd eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Baginski. He was employed an an apprentice boilermaker in the Decatur Novelty works. He was born and raised in this city and was well known in the northeast part of the city. He attended the St. Johannes parochial school and was a bright and industrious youth.
Besides his parents he leaves five brothers,Herman,Max,Henry,Walter and Arthur Baginski.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
