DENMARK - Services for James R. Blume, 72, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2000 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Hunter and the Rev. Tim Tapp officiating. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 this evening, September 2, 2000 at Mercer Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 325, Denmark, SC 29402.
Mr. Blume died September 1, 2000. Born in Barnwell County, he was a son of the late Johnny L. Blume Sr. and Mary Hutto Blume.
Surviving are his brother, Cecil L. Blume of Denmark; niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. f. C. Noles; nephew and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny L. Blume III, great-niece, Jennifer Dyches; great-nephew, Tracy Blume.
