Margaret Helen Soete Driggers was the first daughter born to Conrad Soete and Mary Catherine Strassberg Soete. She was born at the family home on what was then Kenyon Avenue in the West End of Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended elementary school at St. Henry's and High School at Mercy Academy on Freeman Avenue. She lost her father at an early age and lived through the great depression and the 1937 flood in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked for Western and Southern Insurance Company prior to her marriage to John Thomas Driggers on September 2, 1940. Three children were born to John and Margaret: John Thomas Jr. James Richard and Mary Katherine. The family resided in the western side of Cincinnati, living in Delhi Township and Price Hill. Margaret enjoyed playing bingo as a hobby and was dedicated to helping friends and family. She developed cancer in the summer of 1991 and died on October 21, 1991. She is buried next to her husband, John Thomas Driggers in Section 23 A of the New St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
